Kimbrell Hines

Kimbrell Hines focuses her practice on equine law. As an experienced equestrian, Kimbrell assists clients navigate legal matters in the equine industry.  Kimbrell represents clients in an array of equine-related legal issues including sale disputes, waivers, and purchase, breeding and lease agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Kimbrell served as an associate handling equine legal matters for a firm serving Southwest Florida. Prior to her law career, Kimbrell worked as a human resource professional. Her experience in HR—in which she investigated reports of employee misconduct, and also provided guidance regarding compensation, benefits, and company policies provides a unique perspective to solve problems.

Kimbrell earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, Kimbrell served as an intern for the Honorable Christopher Sabella of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court and as a research assistant for UF Law Professor Merritt McAlister, whose scholarship focuses on judicial candor, transparency and access to justice in the United States federal court system.

Kimbrell holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of Tennessee and a B.A. in political science with a minor in business administration from the University of Florida.

Kimbrell lives in the greater Tampa area with her two Australian shepherds. If she is not in the office, Kimbrell can probably be found at a barn or horse competition.
